Dave founded Performance Therapies, P.C. in 1999 and serves as it's director.

He is actively involved in patient care, athletic training and performance enhancement training at the clinic. The emphasis of David's career has been in the area of Orthopedic Sports Medicine.

David worked at the Sports Medicine Institute, and Strength & Conditioning coach for the Milwaukee Rampage Professional Soccer team and the team Physical Therapist for the Milwaukee Admirals hockey team and Milwaukee Brewers baseball team. During this time David also served as a Physical Therapy consultant for multiple NFL and NBA teams.

While in Wisconsin David completed advanced post-graduate training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy through the Institute of Physical Art and the Institute of Physical Therapy.

In 1998 David moved to the Iowa City to pursue a Ph.D. in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Iowa. David is currently in the candidacy phase of his Ph.D. work.

In 1999 David founded Performance Therapies, P.C. in Coralville to provide individualized Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapy care.

In 2002 David was hired by the Graduate Program in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Science at the University of Iowa to teach the Orthopedic Physical Therapy series of courses which he has done since that time.
